According to this morning's intertubes, Arsenal have finally gotten some good news about injuries prior to a game. It's taken a while for me to post this, because I wasn't sure how to process that fact - Arsenal don't get good injury news! - but Sky Sports says that both Mesut Özil and Olivier Giroud have been passed fit for Arsenal's first Champions League match of the season tomorrow in Marseille. And it's not just Sky tweeting randomly, either (despite the "more on SSN" end to the tweet, I couldn't find anything on Sky Sports) - Eurosport have it too.
So, there we have it. Two keys to Arsenal's attack, fit for a match. I'm in awe. As for the match itself, Arsene Wenger feels like the team learned a lot from their trip to Munich last year, and feels like Arsenal can play anyplace, anywhere or anytime and get a result. Boss Man Money Quote:
"Overall, I believe even last season we had a decent away record and from that moment you think, 'If we can go to Munich and win, why not anywhere else?'"
Why not indeed. Let's start tomorrow, shall we?
