Who plays FM on here? If so, what team do you play as? (I'm assuming that the majority here would play as Arsenal, but you never know.) If not Arsenal, why did you pick that team to play with?

I'm kind of interested in how people on here approach their games. Tactics, guiding club philosophy, transfer, etc.

For me, I'm in season 2020 with my Arsenal team. I've tried to use homegrown talent as much as possible, and have been very successful in developing youth for the first team. I also develop youngsters and sell them on when their value is high. For example, I developed a young regen striker and sold him on to Barca for 50 mil euros, because I was sure I had another young regen ST who was good enough to play the lone striker role. I actually had a surplus of really good young strikers, so I said, hey why not take the 50 mil.

Jack Wilshere is captain, and will stay captain until if he ever decides he wants a new challenge, but he is basically the only remaining member of the Arsenal squad as we know it in 2013. I was able to buy Bale in 2013 for 24 mil euros because he was unhappy at Spurs and wanted CL, and made a transfer request. (lol!) But he's getting old now, and I think in another year or so I might sell him.

Overall club philosophy: developing young players, either for the first-team or to be sold.

Currently have a payroll budget of 7 mil per week, and transfer budget of 152 mil. Or I have a payroll budget of 4.5 mil and a transfer budget of 295 mil, depending on how I want it.

Successes: after winning the FA cup in 2013 and 2014, Arsenal were finally able to challenge for the title in 2015, where it managed to also do the Triple! Since then, Arsenal have won the CL 5 times, and has won the PL title 6 times.

If only this success could be duplicated in real life, lol.

Anyway, what are your saves like? Notable successes? Funny stories?
