As you may or may not know, every year, I do a charity bike ride, Bike MS. Because it's a charity ride, I also brazenly, shamelessly beg for donations from pretty much anybody and everybody; I try to only ask once or twice, but I'm also not above putting a post out in the world to ask you, the generous, awesome, and wonderful TSF readership, if you'd be willing to donate a few bucks towards a good cause.
I'm trying two different things this year - I'm dramatically increasing my fundraising goal (shooting for $2,000), and I'm hoping - not guaranteeing, but working really hard - to set a personal best this year of around eight hours for the 100 miles. I typically have done the ride in about 9:00-9:30, so I'm setting a pretty aggressive goal for myself to get to eight. I'm not committing to a specific time, but if I can get down to below 8:15, I will be deliriously happy.
I will also be over-the-moon happy if I hit my fundraising goal, and that's where you can help - any little bit you'd be willing to donate would be greatly appreciated as I work towards the ride, which is August 3-4. Thank you for your indulgence, and for your support.
