Bacary Sagna and Kieran Gibbs, along with possibly Abou Diaby, will be missing when Arsenal go into Sunday's match at White Hart Lane, according to Arsene Wenger on the official website:
Abou is an uncertainty. He has a calf problem, a minor one. It is question of days. He will have tests and then we will see if we can use him on Sunday or not. It is a 50:50. Actually maybe a bit more for him playing.
Carl Jenkinson and Nacho Monreal will have to reprise their Aston Villa partnership, hopefully facing fewer counters from Arsenal corner kicks this time. Diaby was unlikely to start in the match anyhow, so if he can't go, Arsenal's normal midfield three of Santi Cazorla, Jack Wilshere, and Mikel Arteta will start, with Lukas Podolski on the left.
The miniature fullback crisis of 2013 continues, but this time, the cover is pretty solid. Hopefully Arsenal as a whole can defend better than they did against Villa.
