Not to look ahead, but I just looked ahead to the fixture list, and thought about the Men In Blazers' podcast comment from last week, where they thought the league would be decided this year in matches between the top six teams. Check out this four-week stretch starting Week 30.
Saturday, March 15: Arsenal at Spurs
Saturday, March 22: Arsenal at Chelsea
Saturday, March 29: Man City at Arsenal
Saturday, April 5: Arsenal at Everton
If we run that gauntlet, it's delicious cupcake frosting (comparatively, at least) the rest of the way (hosting West Ham, at Hull, hosting Newcastle, hosting West Brom, and at Norwich).
Also of note in the home stretch: United vs. Liverpool on March 15, Spurs vs. Liverpool on March 29, Liverpool vs. City on April 12, Liverpool vs. Chelsea on April 26, and Everton vs. City on May 3. (And though Aston Villa might not yet be making the leap, Spurs face them on the final day.)
