Next season will mark the 20th anniversary of the cash cow known as the Premier League. In those 20 years, the Premier League has had exactly four winners - Manchester United, Arsenal, Blackburn, and Chelsea. Isn't money neat? Anyway, the Premier League has published a shortlist of the best players, moments, and matches from its long, illustrious history and invited fans to vote for their favorites.
I am not generally a fan of lists of "best goals/games/players/whatever", or of selecting "the best" of something so subjective - really, it's like picking your favorite breath or favorite grain of sand - but I know a lot of people are, so here you go, vote yourselves silly. I will say that despite my lack of interest, I looked through the categories - I am not impressed with any of Arsenal's appearances in the "Best Match" category. And while I would vote for Bergkamp in the "best goal" category (the Newcastle goal), I hope that non-Arsenal people smarten up and pick Le Tissier's against Newcastle, because it's awesome.
So yeah, 20 years of the Premiership. Whee? Happy anniversary, money.
