According to the official site, Bacary Sagna has been discharged from the hospital after receiving a head injury in yesterday's Carling Cup semifinal against Ipswich Town:

After staying in hospital overnight for observation, Bacary has now been discharged and overall is well and in good spirits.

The French right back was challenging for an Ipswich corner kick in the air, jumping forward, when his goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny was jumping backward while reaching for the ball.  There was a clash of heads and numerous players ended up in a heap with Sagna appearing to bear the worst of the pileup.  Play was stopped for several minutes while trainers attended to Sagna, who left for further examination, Emmanuel Eboue coming on in his place.

Initial reports were that he was feeling ill after the injury, but that seems to have subsided overnight.  There is no word from Arsenal yet about his availability for the weekend's FA Cup match against Huddersfield, and head injuries are of course notoriously difficult to pin down as far as timetables go.  It is likely that Eboue would start on Sunday in any case, so here's hoping that Sagna fully recovers and is back to his best soon.
